Where I live in the south west of France, the spring treat of seeing Blue Bells is not something I see very often, and if I do, it will not be the scented ones found in British woodlands. However we do get a different sight, that of the Cuckoo Flower, which this year started in March and goes through to May. They are a similar size to blue bells and range in colour from mauve to white…it is such a wonderful spring show in damp meadows, ditches and near water.
See my Vlog about how they work as a flower Essence.
