Sweet Chestnut; helps you see things differently

Sweet Chestnut Tree is where we get the nuts to go with our Christmas Dinners. It’s catkins bloom very late, from June onwards even as late as August, they look like cream coloured fireworks especially vivid with the backdrop of the dark green shiny leaves.
